Toledo

Today we are in Toledo and it is an AMAZING city! So much history and old architecture. I am loving all the art and the stories behind it, I have never wanted to take an art history class before but after seeing some of the the real things, it has changed my mind! The original Valesquez, Goya, and Greco painting son marvelosos and have inspired me to learn more. The paintings are not just art they are political statements and often criticisms of people in positions of power, they all have had such influence and represent more than just a spectacular painting.

Anyways, me encanta Toledo y estoy muy emocionado para llegar en Granada maƱana!

Traveling in this big of a group is very interesting, not only confusing and a little overwhelming, but it is interesting to observe the social dynamics of kids from all over the county who don't know each other, make friends and form groups...I have met some very nice people so far!

I was also thinking how interesting that all of us are here, some going to the same city, and all have the same blank canvas. But even though there are so many aspects in common we will each have our own individual experience. Everyone will make there trip unique in there own way without even trying. No two adventure are the same even though we have so much of the same opportunities. Each person will paint their canvas differently. And that is the beauty of traveling, each city sees so many tourist pass through but the city leaves a unique impression on each individual and a feeling completely their own.

que interesante! We are all so lucky that we get the privilege to travel and see new places... I'm so excited to be here!
